Crops and varieties
Crop, variety, campaign, and fertilizer are chosen from a fixed list. Other keeps a short text.
On the fiche, Type of crop, Variety, Campaign year, and Fertilizer are menus. Each value has a photograph, in a small circle. Other opens a short text when the list cannot name it.
Crops
The list is Vine, Corn, Wheat, Grass, and Other.
Varieties
The variety menu follows the crop.
- Vine, labelled Variety: Pinot noir, Chardonnay, Merlot, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Other
- Corn: P9234, DKC 4751, SY Glorius, KWS Stabil, Other
- Wheat: Chevignon, Apache, Rubisko, Fructidor, Other
- Grass: Perennial ryegrass, Italian ryegrass, Tall fescue, Timothy, Other
A name the list cannot match is stored as Other plus that text. A variety that belongs to another crop is not kept.
Campaign
Campaign year is a harvest year around the current year: two years before, through two years after. Sowing, harvest, and the planting year open in a calendar.
Sowing appears only when the crop is sown. A vine shows Planting year instead of sowing, and still has a harvest date. Wheat, corn, grass, and Other are sown, so they have sowing and harvest, and no planting year.
Fertilizer
Not set, None, Organic, Mineral, Organo-mineral, Foliar, or Other. Other asks which fertilizer, in a short text.
